Aspetti filosofici della salute umana: un’analisi scientometrica basata sul database Scopus

La salute umana comprende più delle sole dimensioni biologiche e fisiologiche, estendendosi in ambiti filosofici che influenzano la nostra comprensione della salute e della malattia. Questo studio presenta un’analisi bibliometrica degli aspetti filosofici della salute umana, concentrandosi sull’intersezione tra filosofia e ricerca sanitaria. Utilizzando i dati del database Scopus, sono stati analizzati 517 documenti pubblicati tra il 2014 e il 2024. L’analisi rivela un crescente interesse accademico per questo campo interdisciplinare, con un aumento significativo delle pubblicazioni e delle citazioni, in particolare tra il 2019 e il 2021, probabilmente in risposta a crisi sanitarie globali come la pandemia di COVID- 19. Lo studio identifica riviste chiave, tra cui Medical Humanities e Journal of Medical Humanities, come centrali nel dibattito. Tra le principali istituzioni che contribuiscono alla ricerca si distinguono la Monash University e la University of Melbourne, sottolineando il loro ruolo significativo nello sviluppo degli studi. Autori influenti come Balalykin DA. e Savulescu J. si distinguono per i loro contributi. La distribuzione geografica mostra una forte presenza di ricerca proveniente da Stati Uniti, Regno Unito e altri Paesi, con una significativa collaborazione internazionale. Termini chiave come “etica”, “filosofia” e “medical humanities” sono ricorrenti, mentre argomenti emergenti come “COVID- 19” riflettono l’impatto delle recenti sfide sanitarie globali. Questo studio sottolinea il crescente riconoscimento delle prospettive filosofiche nella ricerca sanitaria ed evidenzia l’importanza di una continua esplorazione interdisciplinare per affrontare le complesse problematiche della salute. La ricerca futura dovrebbe concentrarsi su tematiche emergenti e mantenere un dialogo attivo con le questioni filosofiche in evoluzione in ambito sanitario.
