Il presente contributo, facendo riferimento al modello relazionale-simbolico di Eugenia Scabini e Vittorio Cigoli, propone alcune riflessioni intorno al tema della "differenza" e dell'"origine", come elementi costitutivi dell'identità dell'umano, che hanno come luogo primario di realizzazione la famiglia (sul versante sia del rapporto tra i generi, sia della relazione tra le generazioni) e che ne sostengono la spinta generativa.
