This article describes a project for Italian high schools in the last fifteen years. The first part is dedicated to describe how the project was defined, from the preliminary preparations to its implementation and conclusion with an assessment. In addition to describe the various stages of the project, the article compares this experience with other Italian experiences, in parallel with the guidelines set out in international documents and other European experiences. Finally, the project provides an opportunity to reflect on the dialogical dimension that ethics can assume in an educational context, as opposed to the image of bioethics as a source of conflict and ideological opposition.
