The present papers, referring to the relational-symbolic model by Eugenia Scabini and Vittorio Cigoli, discusses the issues of "difference" and "origin" as constitutive elements of the human identity, that take place within the family (in both the couple relationship and the relationship between family generations) and support the goal of "generativity".
