The article presents the activity carried out by the Family Planning Center of the diocese of Modena from 1979 to 1991. In particular, after a short introduction, the author discusses the following points: 1) the sociological situation of the family in Emilia-Romagna; 2) the center's team; 3) the work methodology; 4) the number of bioethical cases and problems in the center; 5) prospectives and proposals for the future.
