The issue of transsexuals has recently been brought to the public's attention after a number of medical-scientific centres conducted in-depth studies on forms of sexual anomalies (hermaphroditism, transsexualism) and initiated medical-surgical corrective interventions. As a result, the subject has imposed itself on legislators, provoked public opinion and psychological scholars, and obviously posed complex problems on a moral level.
