Gestazione per altri (GPA). Rilievi etici, considerazioni psicologiche e notazioni giuridiche

Il presente contributo ha per oggetto d'indagine la gestazione per altri (GPA), nota anche col nome di maternità surrogata, attorno a cui è in corso un vivo dibattito pubblico, che non manca d'interessare le istituzioni politiche, come certifica in ambito italiano la proposta di legge che intende rendere tale pratica reato universale. L'articolo si prefigge di vagliare gli aspetti etici e psicologici della GPA nella duplice forma della maternità surrogata retribuita - detta commerciale o utero in affitto - e della maternità surrogata gratuita - detta solidale - e di avanzare alcuni rilievi di carattere politico-giuridico.
