L'articolo presenta l'attività svolta dal Centro di Consulenza Familiare della diocesi di Modena-Nonantola nel periodo 1979-1991. L'attività del Centro è rivolta a tutti, credenti e non credenti. In particolare, dopo una breve introduzione, l'autore si sofferma sui seguenti punti: 1) situazione sociologica della famiglia in Emilia-Romagna; 2) l'èquipe del consultorio; 3) metodologia di lavoro; 4) casistica e problematiche bioetiche in consultorio; 5) prospettive e proposte per il futuro.
