The present article analyzes, through the contributions of some Latin American authors, the perspective of a bioethics as a democratic dialogue among opposite views in order to reach a consensus agreement. The present topic is organized in tow chapters: the first one considers the risk of reduction into localist solution of the bioethical questions in "developing countries"; the second one evaluates the "democratic dialogue" that comes out from the pathway already argued by Habermas and Apel in the "discourse ethics", highlighting the devaluation of the conflict in the resolution of bioethical dilemmas as well as the ambiguities and the theoretical limits of this deliberative praxis.
