Il dibattito sulla fecondazione artificiale: dal 1949 al 1987

Abstract

Il contributo ricostruisce, attraverso l’analisi di alcuni contributi comparsi sulla rivista “Medicina e Morale”, il dibattito intorno all’impiego delle tecniche di fecondazione artificiale nel periodo compreso tra il 1949, anno della comparsa sulla stessa rivista dei primi articoli sul tema e il 1987, anno della pubblicazione della Donum vitae da parte della Congregazione per la Dottrina della Fede. La riflessione viene articolata, in particolare, attorno a tre momenti: l’ethos del generare umano, il generare umano e il matrimonio e lo status dell’embrione umano.

The contribute debates the use of artificial fecundation, through the analysis of some contributions of the journal “Medicina e Morale” from 1949, when the first articles concerning the subject has been published, to 1987, when the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith has published Donum Vitae. In particular, the reflection is organized into three section: the ethos of human generation, generation and human marriage and the status of the human embryo.
