ln data 5 maggio del 1980 le Supreme autoritaÌ€ della S.C. per la Fede dietro approvazione e incarico del S. Pontefice, firmarono una Dichiarazione sull'Eutanasia, essa peroÌ€ fu pubblicata sull'Osservatore Romano il26 giugno, quando nell'Urbe « calores maximi esse solent», e in tutto mondo l'attivitaÌ€ giornalistica, a causa delle ferie, subisce un certo rallentamento; del resto non ci fu presentazione nella sala stampa di cui generalmente godono documenti di questo genere.
