Non sono certo di oggi gli interventi sul feto umano. Oggi però pongono nuovi e più gravi problemi da diversi punti di vista, non ultimo quello etico. Lo sviluppo crescente della medicina prenatale ha ampliato le conoscenze grazie ai mezzi diagnostici e, nello stesso tempo, ha aperto la via alla terapia in utero. I feti umani, anche in seguito al diffondersi degli aborti provocati e legalmente ammessi, sono diventati sempre più dei possibili "donatori" di organi e di tessuti.
